Have You Seen This Lost Dog?

Kona went missing Monday near Honolulu Avenue, near Boston and Lauderdale avenues. Have you seen this dog?

La Crescenta resident Lacey Fife contacted Patch via Facebook asking the public's help to find her missing dog, Kona.

Kona apparently jumped over the family's backyard fence on Monday and his owners have started posting signs in the area.

The canine is red in color, weighs about 35 pounds. He escaped near Honolulu Avenue, between Lauderdale and Boston avenues.

So happy to hear Kona was reunited with her family! For future reference, the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA is the animal control and welfare agency for La Cañada. Its website is updated hourly with animals brought into the shelter at www.pasadenahumane.org. You can always stop by check the kennels and fill out a lost pet report.

So glad Kona is back home. Such a beautiful dog. She must have connections with Hawaii with a name like that.Don't be so sure she jumped over fence,,,a theft is possible....keep her secure from that...b

So happy the dog and their owner have been reunited. With this in mind, maybe it's time to remove the "Have you Seen this Dog?" headline which is now almost two days old? Makes people think the poor animal is still missing.
