Fourth of July in Montrose-La Crescenta

For Montrose-La Crescenta residents, the premiere Fourth of July event is the Crescenta Valley fireworks show.  Below is all the information you need on the event.

As of Wednesday, pre-event tickets are no longer on sale, so those who wish to go will need to pay the higher gate admission price ($10).  The tickets are first come, first serve, so get there early.  Children under 7 and service men and women get in free.

The gates open at 4 p.m. at the La Crescenta Elementary playground.  The field is off of Prospect Ave. just west of La Crescenta Avenue.

Make sure to bring blankets, folding chairs or sleeping bags to get comfortable for the show.

The following food trucks will be at the event:

  • Border Grill
  • Slammin Sliders
  • Son of a Bun
  • Munchy Machine
  • Let's Be Frank
  • King Cone
  • Frozen Crush
  • Kemsely Carnival Snack Trailer
The gates close at 8:30 p.m. so make sure to be there well ahead of there to ensure you can get in and find parking.

No smoking or alcohol is allowed at the event.
