Bites Nearby: Montrose Bakery Breakfast Is Served!
Stop by the bakery and coffee shop for a tasty meal!
The sign on the window broadcasts that the Montrose Bakery and Coffee Shop has been open since 1942, and it's no wonder. With scrumptious food, a full bakery and restaurant and a classic feel, Montrose Bakery and Coffee Shop is the perfect venue for Sunday brunch, afternoon coffee and everything in between.
"Everything is homemade," owner Henry Baeza reports. From the handcrafted cakes to the delicious entrees, it's all made right inside the cafe. Baeza loves everything his restaurant serves; he can't choose a favorite dish.
The biggest breakfast seller is the "Montrose Omelette," which features bacon, sausage, onion, tomato and cheese. At lunch time, Santa Fe chicken sandwiches, decked out with peppers and avocado, are the hot item on the menu.
