April Showers Dampen the Southland
The second wave of a spring storm is expected to hit Thursday night and Friday.
Another storm is expected to hit Thursday night and Friday, bringing rain and snow throughout Los Angeles County, according to the National Weather Service.
Areas from Downtown Los Angeles to the San Fernando and San Gabriel valleys could experience showers Thursday while a storm is predicted to move north along the coast toward Santa Barbara and Ventura counties, the NWS reported.
Forecasters expect widespread showers Friday and say rainfall totals could be from half an inch to one inch, officials said.

"Any thunderstorms that develop on Friday would be capable of producing small hail and brief heavy precipitation," according to the National Weather Service.
Gusty winds can also be expected Thursday night into Friday morning. These winds could continue on Friday afternoon, the agency reported.

"The early morning commute on Friday will likely be wet across the Los Angeles Basin. Commuters should plan extra time to reach their destination. Motorists planning to travel into the local mountains late this week should monitor the latest National Weather Service forecasts and statements as well as check latest road conditions."
