1) 98,000 acres that were damaged in the Station Fire are open once again for picnicking, hiking and camping. .
2) The Historical Society of the Crescenta Valley meets tonight at 7 p.m. at the for a presentation on the Glendale and Montrose Railway, an electric trolley line that operated from 1913 to 1930. Evidence of the vintage trolley line can be seen all over town: Anawalt Lumber was once the car barn, and the old track bed is now the median on Verdugo Road. All are welcome to attend!
