5 Things to Make Your Monday!
Patch has the scoop on all the happenings across town, from Vacation Bible School to the 40th annual Children's Art Exhibit.
1. Have you checked out the 40th International Children's Art Exhibition at the ? This exhibit, which is displaying different work across Los Angeles County libraries, represents the art work of children across the United States and the world. Find out more about the Children's Art Exbit here. Work will be on display at the La Crescenta Library through June 30.
2. Moms and dads with little ones might be interested to know that the Americana at Brand hosts "Monday Morning Mommy Movies" every week! Join the fun at 11 a.m. when the Americana shows a movie perfect for small children on the green!
3. Did you know the has an Advanced Reader's Club for teens? 9-12th grade students can get involved now by reviewing books (which you can do online). Participants earn service credit while expanding their minds! Call the library at 818-248-5313 for more information.

4. Feeling a little jazzy? Head down to Jax Bar and Grill (339 N. Brand Blvd.) for some live piano and sultry singing to enjoy with your dinner and drinks. Try it as a surprise Monday date!
5. is taking sign-ups for Vacation Bible School! Children ages 4-12 are welcome to attend. Bible School will run from July 11-15 from 9 a.m.-12 noon. Tuitions is $30, but scholarships are available. Students will experience worship, games, snacks, crafts and Bible stories as they learn about Jesus! Sign up so you don't lose your spot!
