5 Things For a Terrific Tuesday!
Help the homeless, make some calls, pop in some meetings, travel to Australia; it's all in a day's work in Montrose!
1. At the , volunteers are welcome to drop by to participate in the Brother's Helpers Ministry. From 2-8:30 p.m., the ministry will provide food to homeless. Volunteers can stay for however long they'd like. 2411 Montrose Ave., 818-249-2008.
2. On the first Tuesday of each month, the presents game night, where kids of all ages can come and play board games and Wii! Who said the library wasn't fun? 2465 Honolulu Ave., 818-548-2048.
3. In another special library event, the will host its monthly "armchair traveler meeting." Travelers will journey to Australia in this lively presentation of architecture, literature, food, art, music and history. 4. The will meet at 7 p.m. The civic-minded meeting, which happens weekly, will take place at the Grandview Palace Inn. 2650 Foothill Blvd., 818-248-2131.
