Are you a gardener in need of mulch?
Free mulch is available to La Crescenta and Montrose residents at Brand Park beginning Nov. 1. The mulch is the by-product of the city’s tree-trimming program and is useful in landscaping, as well as preventing weeds and erosion during heavy rains.
Bring shovels, gloves and containers to collect the mulch. Signage at the Park will direct residents to the mulch areas.
