I'm all for it, and, while we're at it, let's set aside some land for dirt jumpers and other bikers to build trails. A feasibility study was supposed to be underway, but they were obviously just trying to silence the biking community. in the meantime, we are forced to build our trails in secrecy, only to watch thousands of man hours of work PLOWED after a few months.

Hi Shawn, thanks for commenting. Where do you think would be a good location for a dirt bike jump/trails location in our area?

The feasibility study was to be near the Glendale Sports Complex in an area with no trees. In order to maintain dirt jumps and trails, water is needed. When built in shaded areas, the water remains in the soil for longer. Crescenta Valley Park is the perfect location, since they have access to water, many trees, and a nice hillside. Currently, bikes are not allowed to ride there. A smaller scale riding area would be great at Montrose Community Park. There, a pump track, dirt jumps, and an XC/CX circuit would still fit nicely.
