Obama to Visit L.A. Wednesday for Leno Show

President's time here will be brief, one in a series of campaign stops that day in Iowa, Colorado and Las Vegas.

President Barack Obama is scheduled to return to Los Angeles on Wednesday to appear on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno."

Obama will land at Los Angeles International Airport on Wednesday afternoon after campaign stops in Iowa and Colorado. After the taping, he will fly out of LAX to Las Vegas for another event.

"The Tonight Show" tapes at NBC Studios in nearby Burbank. The president's travel plans, including whether he will travel via motorcade or helicopter from LAX to Burbank, have not yet been announced.

When Obama attended a fund-raiser at George Clooney's Studio City home in May, he flew via helicopter from LAX to the Burbank airport, where his motorcade was waiting for him.

If you expect to be between the Burbank airport and NBC Studios Wednesday afternoon, be aware that the presidential motorcade may pass you by.
